BRAINIACS SPELLING BEE 1

The spelling bee took place on Tuesday 16 June, 2026.

The first phase was between Nursery One and Nursery Two, while the second phase took place between Basic One and Basic Two.

The quiz was moderated by Mr. Joel, with Mr. Alabi serving as the score recorder, and Mr. Kolawole as the time keeper.

At Brainiacs Montessori Modern Academy, our recent Spelling Competition was about so much more than letters and words.

From our Nursery One and Nursery Two pupils to our Basic One and Basic Two spellers, each child who stepped forward to spell showed something truly special: the willingness to try, even when a word felt difficult, and the confidence to stand before an audience and give their very best.

We commend every participant for their effort and participation. Spelling out loud in front of classmates and teachers takes real courage, and every child who did so should be proud of themselves.

Qualities such as confidence, resilience, sharp focus, and grace under pressure are the very same qualities that shape great leaders.

We have no doubt that the children who stood tall at this competition are building the foundation for the confident, capable leaders they will one day become.

To every pupil who participated: thank you for your hard work, your bravery, and the joy you brought to this competition. Brainiacs Montessori Modern Academy is incredibly proud of you, and we cannot wait to see all that you will achieve.
